Breeding Greyhound Club of British races, our home club, organized two club show for whippets and greyhounds at the occasion of 30th club anniversary. The show took place at Konopiště Castle in the surroundings of game enclosures. I could not miss this even with my whippet girls although the weather forecast was not posistive. And it fulfilled, the day was rainy and cold. It spoilt the beautifl effect our club shows usually make.
Judge job was accepted by Italian judges. Everything was set only in the end as originally we were supposed to have judges from Germany and Holland. But regarding the pandemie situation they were not permitted to travel to the Czech Republic any more and we were obliged to ask the Italians as they were still enabled to travel. They are a very appreciated and successful Italian whippet breeder (whippet kennel Sobresalto) and judge Arnaldo Cotugno as well as a vet and judge in one person Fausto Cavalieri who is not exactly a whippet specialist but he judges X.group of FCI, which are all greyhaunds.

Club Shows awarding CAC title and "Club Winner"
My reared one Aureolin Hue Baya Nobles aka Olin participated in both shows with us. Our main aim was not to reach the highest positions but to absolve succesfully bonitation which was the part of the shows. Only two of litter A puppies assumed bonitation - becoming a stud bitch/dog and they are Berroo and Olin. The other clientts are not sure yet about showing itself or their dog's condition.
The first Show day was rainy and we stayed the whole day in exhibition tents except for showing and exhibiting itself. The weather did not do good to the gilrs. Berroo was not presentable and was all shaky. Her fear from an exhibition table that had appeared in Slovakia, cane back. It was good enough to receive the Excellent mark and advanced into the final of six joung bitches from total fifteen presented. I have nothing to complain about. Valentina appeared in the Winner Class where shr gained as usual the second position from total number of eight champions. She got the title Res.CAC and as the first place bitch is already the Czech Champion, the title was passed to Valentina. As one of three bitches she also received a nomination to the Best Movement of breed. I am very satisfied.

27th September 2020 - day two
Club Show awarding CAC title
The second day was not as seccessful as the first one. Valentina got the Excellent mark and advanced to the final six bitches but without order. And little Berroo showed herself worse than on Saturday. The judge appreciated her with her very first time Very Good mark. It is funny, because it finished the same way as Valentina didi two years ago. I do not take it too serious, every champion has to get his first "VG".
As I already mentoined above except the show, bonitation also took place. Where both Berroo and Olin were successful. They received nice grades. They are both full teeth, scissors bite, dark eyes, correct ear. They have the right whippet expression and nature. Olin has both testicles. And what is very important they both have standard.
Mirďa aka Aquamarine Lagoon Baya Nobles with his family came to Konopiště on Sunday to support us. I was so delighted to see them all again. Mirďa is such a beautiful rascal and I have the impression he smiles all the time which is visible in the group picture above.

The last four days were really hectic. After returning from Slovakia where I took part in two-day show with Berroo, I headed to Poland for a weekend National Dog Show. This time with both whippet girls and Valentina was capable to gain the last title CWC/CAC which was missing to fulfil Polish Beauty Champion. Berroo again appeared in an intermediate class and won a beautiful second place.

17th and 18th September 2020
The day before closing frontiers with Slovakia (Covid-19 issues again, no comment!). I left with our young Berroo for an International Nitra Cup. I subseribed Berroo into an intermediate class although her age still belongs to a junior class. We tempted to take candidacy in an adult Slovak Beauty Champion. And the risk paid off. Though Berroo's class was most occupied, she was able to charm her judge and she gained twice the CAC title.
Now something about her performance. To my surprise, she was quite scared. It was the very first time she came to a show without her mum Valentina and it made her unconfident. Unfortunately the wind was strong and the exhibition tents were moving strongly and making noise. This noise made Berroo feel uncomfortable and when the judge with a mask on arrived, it was over. She was not able to get an exhibition table. The show finally took place on the ground a she just gained her class. The next day events repeated.
This Slovak year with Berroo is complete because the condition to win the champion is to gain four time CAC in two show seasons. I am afraid that considering the nowadays situation, next shows will be postponed or cancelled. Unfortunately.

It is just have been six months since under tragic conditions our only alive puppy of litter B Belong Karlyn Heart Baya Nobles aka Kaya saw the first time the light of this world.One cannot stop the time and he is not a puppy any more but became a sturdy dog with a beautiful character. His mistress cannot but praise him and in a nushell he is just gorgeous. I can see Karlyn in his eyes and the body is also like his mum - strong bones.
Kaya has experienced a dog kindergarten where my friend Martina taught him basic commands and obedience. Kaya is a very happy and tactile dog and made a lot of friends in the kindergarten, he wanted to try everything and always be first. The only thing he really hates is to train the show pose. He decided to imitate his dad Leonardo who has never liked posing compared to his mum Karlyn. She loved showing off.
He celebrated his six months by visiting our base. It was such fun! The duo Kaya - Berroo played like crazy and Valentina personified the role of an auntie-mother and decided to cool them down. They play around for almost two hours until they finally dropped from exhaustion and Kaya took his time too pee the spots he has known from his birth. The fact that everybody calmed down helped mine to take out the show leash and try to train the pose and exhibition show. Unfortunately, we did not try anything. Kaya is just a monkey who cannot stand a minute in piece. Maybe tomorow, maybe one day...
If it had not happened what had happened, I would be writing about 10 amazing dogs who would fill with joy their masteer and enrich their lives with theri great characters. The article would be 10 time longer and most of you would not even finish it as you would get bored by reading how gorgeous the dogs are.
But it is not the case...

29th -30th August 2020 - The first National Dog Show in Poland took place after the Covid19 issues. The possibility to gain so much craved last title CWC/CAC could not be missed and Valentina and I desired to fulfill the last condition to win the Polish Beauty Champion.
Unfortunately, we did not succeed and the curce of the second place again showed its power.

16th August 2020 -The two light spots in the picture above are my young Berroo and a tassel, just for explanation. The meadow was so huge that my camera with a quality zoom was not able to catch those incredibly fast moving tiny things. So do not be surprised that in videos you can see the girls only at start and reaching the finish.
Today's Sunday morning we decided to work on our whippet physical skills and we headed to coursing training organized by moravskycoursing.cz. This time in a new location of Šenov close to Havířov which is finally nearby. The participation was good and I hope it will become a tradition. The girls were running at their best. Both of them ran two great circuits without hesitattion and not loosing bait interest. They were fixing the tassel all the ciruit and perfectly caught it in finish. Exactly the way it should be.
I was enthusiastic about Berroo as it was her second start on the circuit and she was so focused and pleased at the same time. She ran without hesitation straight following her bait. Valča seemed like a real pro, she ran both circuits with an experienced racer and she was at his heels all the time. Next time we will try to gain licence.
7th and 8th August 2020
Lyra - Alizarin Crimson Baya Nobles and her master Veronika surprised us with a very successful participation in Moutain Challenge Jeseníky 2020. (video nr. 1 - you can see them 1:08 mins.)
This year it was an anniversary 10th season of the series Mountain Challenge for mountain runner lovers which took place the second August weekend in Jeseníky, Červenohorské sedlo area. A lot of enthusiastic runners started in many categories and in many different circuits. The girls took part in a 14 km run where both men and women started toghether. 30 runners in total number with their furry babies. They gained a wonderful 3rd place and it is such success! Especially when you notice that they started from the last position with some difficulties (video nr.2). A lot of people and dogs made Lyra a bit uncertain in the beginning but then she found out it was fun and ran to the finish. It was Lyra's second course in her life.

I have never doubted about choosing the best masters to my Litter A puppies. All of them are real family members and so much loved. The greater my happiness when I see the results at shows as well as sport.
This weekend our Alizarin Crimeson Baya Nobles aka "Lyra" at the age of 15 months took part in her first race in canircoss. It was a two-day charity sport and hobby event to support "Podané ruce" oranization that focuses on canitherapy. Beside 1 km canicross racing, the 15 km horse race was organized too.
The race that Lyra took part in was divided into three categories: men, women and children. Lyra started with her owner Veronika in the category "women" among 24 pairs-runners with their dog of various races. The trail was not too long but if we consider the age of Lyra and her first sport attempt, it was ideal. Lyra managed it as a pro. She also mastered the atmosphere there. She started without issues, did not mind other dogs either horses (as there was a horse race at the same time). According to the owner Lyra reacted to the orders perfectly, moved and pulled forward greatly. The final position (10th place) with time 04:12 min is a success if we take into account that other pairs race as a pro for canicross Olomouc.
The first positive experience encouraged and motivated girls to subscribe into another cynological-running event "Canikosíř 2020". It has been already third year of this running race with dogs that takes place not far from Olomouc on the top of the highest sot in Haná - Pod Velkým Košířem.

17th - 19th July 2020
This year The International Show in Nitra due to coronavirus took place in limited number of people which was set on 1000 people each day of the show. Already to register there was adrenalin itself.
I was able to get my place and on Friday 17th July Valentina and I deaded to the first day of the Show.Our goal to complete the Slovak Beauty Champion.
The weather was lunatic. The Sun changed rain and as the temperatures were summery, showing with the masks was not the most pleasant. Again an open class welcomed a few equilibrated bitches and our aim to finish the champion was not as bright as before. Moreover two of the judges are whippet breeders and specialists in this race. The victory was not for free.
Valentina is a holder of anotheer title, namely Slovak Beauty Champion.

5th July 2020 - Finally! The first dog show after the corona craziness has come.
Traditionally, the May Show takes place on 1st May in Kelč byt it did not happen this year and was postponed to an alternative term. The 5th July was chosen as the day D and the location was set in hunting chalet surrounding in Horka nad Moravou.
As usual the Show was perfectly organised with numerous awards for class winners as well as the whole show winners. The main judge became a very sweet Mrs. Lenka Frnčová (CZ)who surprised us with her point of view. Her vision was always based on facts and commented loudly so that everybody could understand what she had appreciated on a concrete individual. This is how I imagine the judge job.
And what was the results then? I took Valentina as well as Berroo and Olin's owner came too. All of them got grade excellent and great assessments. I was pleasantly surprised by Olin that performed himself like a pro. In my opinion he was the best one in his class.
